Hope on the Rise

The mission of Hope on the rise is to provide women cancer survivors an opportunity to join other women in learning to fly fish, while finding hope and healing in a safe, natural environment.

Hope on the Rise currently holds two retreats. Our summer retreat is held at Tall Timber Lodge in Pittsburg, NH (application deadline May 1). Our fall retreat takes place at the Lake Mansfield Trout Club near Stowe, VT (application deadline August 1). Retreats are offered at no cost and are available to women at any stage, and with any type, of cancer. To attend, a woman must be a resident of Vermont or New Hampshire. Vermont and New Hampshire residents can attend the retreat of their choice.

Forest Moon
Forest Moon offers full-day and overnight retreats free of cost for cancer survivors and their partners. Participants engage in a variety of activities aimed at improving their quality of life.

Healing Happens Now
Healing Happens Now supports people who are undergoing treatment for cancer, or other life challenging situations, by providing them with music and lyrics that facilitate emotional, and therefore physical, healing.

Ladies First
Ladies First is a health screening program for Vermont women. Ladies First removes financial barriers which prevents many women from being screened for cancer or heart disease.
